Who is the godfather of smugglers at Kulaura border, asks BGB

The names of the godfathers identified for smuggling in the border area of Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar, The address was given by BGB. He sought the help of the administration in taking strict action to arrest them. He demanded the formation of a task force if necessary.

In addition to these three godfathers, among the smugglers They are Masum son of Gauch Ali of Shikaria village, Jasim of Amuli village, Sharmin Mia and Monai son of Monir Hossain of South Ganakia village, Dudhu Mia and Tofel Mia son of Chandu Mia of Gankia village and Salam, son of Lalon Miah of the same village, Ashiq, Jasim of Dashteki village, Ahad Ali of Dhalia village, Shamim, Junaid, Tajul and many others. He added that there was a recent influx of illegal immigrants, including Rohingya, across the Prithimpasha border CNG driver Farid, Abdul Sattar’s son Kalam Mia and Siddique Mia’s son Arjad Ali have been arrested and handed over to police for their alleged involvement in the incident.

Many infiltrations including Rohingyas have taken place through them in the last one month. Acting Principal of Tajul Women’s University Emdadul Islam Bhutto, Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Anwar, Primary Education Officer Iftekhar Hossain Bhuiyan, Moulvibazar Narcotics Control Department Inspector Amar Kumar Sen, Bhukshimil UP Chairman Azizur Rahman Monir, Baramchal UP Chairman Khorshed Alam Khan Suite, Kadipur UP Chairman Zafar Ahmed Gilman, Kulaura Sadar UP Chairman Mosaddeq Ahmed Noman along with journalists, people’s representatives, members of various union councils, imams, business leaders were present on the occasion.

According to the statistics of the Department of Narcotics Control, 8 cases have been filed in Moulvibazar for the purpose of eradication of drugs in the last one year, 224 bottles of Phensidyl, 18 kg of cannabis, 9823 pieces of Yaba, 1138 liters of desi. Two CNG autorickshaws and a motorcycle carrying foreign liquor and drugs were seized and Rs 2,65,150 in cash was seized from drug dealers.

At the event, everyone pledged, “I will not let anyone else do wrong / I will eradicate drugs from the society together.” In the workshop Officials from various departments of the administration, public representatives, government officials, teachers, journalists, businessmen and about two hundred people from civil society took part.
